Glitter & Red Lips

I loved this look! It was simple yet I felt so sophisticated and glam the whole day. I loved the natural eye with a twist of the glitter in my crease and the red lip complimenting it so nicely. I always feel so daring when I wear a bold color on the lips so I love to keep the outfit simple, plus, pairing the look with an all black outfit made the lip color and glitter stand out even more.

  • Maybeline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte foundation (Porcelain Ivory)
  • Maybeline Fit Me concealer (Fair)
  • NYX Banana powder
  • NYX translucent setting powder
  • ELF Healthy Glow bronzer
  • Revolution contour
  • Revolution The Matte Blush (Fusion)
  • Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter (Pearl)

I really enjoyed the way these products worked together on my face. The foundation and concealer set beautifully giving me a natural but full coverage look, the powder products blending together to bring warmth and color to my face, and, of course, topping it off with one of my favorite highlighters. Bringing a glow like no other to my skin.

  • Juvia’s Place Nubian palette
  • Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 (Ziri)
  • Too Faced Power of Makeup Glitter
  • Physicians Formula Eye Booster eyeliner
  • Better Than Sex mascara
  • L’Oreal Brow Stylist

I love playing around with eyeshadows and different ways to dress any look up or down with a simple swipe of a brush. The Juvia’s Place Nubian palette has beautiful warm shades that I used to blend into my crease, creating a soft blend up to the brow bone where I had an off-white color bringing light to such a warm look.

Then taking The Nubian 2 palette all over my lid, fading it into a bright shade for the inner corner. Going in with the E.L.F glitter glue to apply the Too Faced glitter into the crease adding a special twist to the look.

  • Too Faced Liquid Lipstick Matte (Lady Balls)

When finishing off the look I wanted to add something different and bright to the look.

I thought if I had gone with a nude lip it would have left the whole look muted and one toned, leaving only the glitter to add anything special. Adding something as intense as this shade to such a natural palette of colors really finished the whole look, pulling everything together in such a unique way.

Until next time,
